Unions confirm next dates for Industrial Action
The National Education Union has confirmed Thursday 27 April and Tuesday 2 May 2023 as the next dates for industrial action. The action relates to a dispute with the Government over pay and not with the school or Local Authority.
The Head Teacher and Governing body have reviewed the impact of the industrial action. They have considered if the school can open safely and whether it can maintain a full or revised curriculum.
As a result of this review, they have decided to close the school to most students. Parents and Carers will be contacted directly if their child has been allocated a place in school.
27 April was scheduled to be a Futures Day for the school, although this was incorrectly published as 11 May. We are sorry for this mistake. We will notify parents and Carers when the replacement Futures Day has been decided.
